Kath has been caring for her own & other peoples animals all her life. So when she took over Metung Boarding Kennels in 2021 she renamed it after her favourite old mate, "Shelby" her dog. She was her constant companion for over 15 years & just like Kath, would care for all those around her. Whether it was a cat, a bird or another competing dog for attention, Shelby was always playing & caring for them.

The logo was created as an artistic representation of Shelby.

Located within the beautiful Gippsland Lakes area on 7 acres, Shelbys Place Metung cares for all types of animals in a loving & nurturing environment.

Shelbys Place Metung has 20 purpose built dog kennels (licensed for 40) & 10 boarding spaces for cats plus enclosures for smaller animals. All this is attached to the main homestead so your pets are never to far from immediate care.

Shelbys also offer a Pet Pamper Service.
